My Notes: Dancer interaction w webbing in digital scenography


In Hakanaï by @adrienmclaireb, a dancer performs inside a moving, semi-transparent cube where live visuals respond to physical motion. The piece unfolds at the edge of dream and reality – a fragile, shifting space evoked by the Japanese word hakanai, which speaks of impermanence and the transience of life.

Images appear and dissolve around the performer like fleeting thoughts, revealing a landscape shaped simultaneously by body and code. After the quadrifrontal show, the audience is invited to enter the space themselves, encountering the installation from within.
