2025 marked an important milestone for our studio: the year we brought Sál to life, completing the trilogy we began developing in 2014 with Ljós and continued in 2017 with Dökk.

For quite a while, we weren’t sure this project would ever see the light of day. Its conceptual and technical complexity challenged not only the production process, but also our internal balance as a studio. Yet, the satisfaction we felt when it finally premiered at @nationaltaichungtheatre, in such an extraordinary venue, made every step worthwhile.

We now look forward to seeing this new performance travel over the coming years, and we hope it will reach (and perhaps surpass!) the 30+ performances of its predecessor.
